What is the Law Regarding Rent Increases?

The state of Colorado does not have rent control, allowing landlords the ability to change rent prices at their discretion.

According to Colorado law, if a mobile home park decides to raise the lot rent, they are required to provide 60 day written notice through the mail.

If a homeowner signs a lease for a specific time period, instead of the standard month-to-month lease that most mobile home parks use, they cannot have their rent increased until that specific time has ended and with the appropriate written notice given.
